Carol update, Thurs eve, Feb 2

Hi Everyone, thank you for your prayers and fasting. We continue to seek God to do a mighty work to restore Carol.
As of today, Carol continues in her coma.
Carol's ICU Dr. said he had hoped for change today.  The Doctors do not understand why Carol's brain will not respond. The MRI which assesses brain tissue did not reveal much to explain her state. They scheduled Carol tonight for an MRV (assesses brain vessels) to see if there are blot clots.  The Strep Pneumonia bacteria hits hard and quickly and flooded Carol's body Sunday morning and by the time we arrived at ER about 9:30am Sunday, meningitis hit her.  The bacteria infected Carol's brain so quickly it is staggering.

Carol's lung and kidneys, etc that were badly affected by the bacteria but are now clearing up.  Just waiting on Carol's brain to be restored.
It is good to stand by Carol's side, pray for her and let her know I am committed to her regardless of what happens.  I thank her for being my wife and I thank God for the sweet blessing of being Carol's husband.  God will do what is good for Carol, for me, for our girls.  I trust Jesus with Carol.

Ps 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Our church family has responded so immediately and overwhelmingly with help and love and meals, that I am greatly encouraged and assisted. We have received prayers from Turkey, Bermuda, Australia, England, Canada and all across America. Thank you.
God have mercy on my Carol, Pastor Craig

I was just informed of Carol's condition by the girls ES here at Riversprings. I teach the middle two their science and art classes. They are the sweetest things! I am also a firm christian, and enjoy hearing of all that is going on in this Godly family from sharing time with them on campus.
Know that I am praying for Carol's full recovery. God never changes! God still listens, God still speaks, and God still heals!
There have been many attacks on pastor's families in the last few years. The enemy knows he can't take away the pastor's faith, so he'll attack their closest family to break him
. I've seen it over and over. But when the people of God rally, hold the family up in prayer, claim healing by the blood of Jesus, and renounce any hold the enemy has on the one being attacked with sickness, God is faithful!
Praise God Craig's testimony of his own brush with life and death, as well as Leili's brush with life and death, show us that God IS strong and mighty!

I live in AL and first learned about your Carol from a FB posting by Mary Waggoner. I have twice posted requests for prayer for Carol, whom I do not know---but God does! Even though your Carol is sleeping, our God "neither sleeps nor slumbers".

Dear Craig and Carol,
Sunday morning I was in the shower when I suddenly thought of your family. I was prompted to pray for you immediately. As I have shared with others here in Denton they were also prompted by God at the same time.
God has us so connected in the body of Christ it is humbling and awesome.
We are all praying for our friend as God is taking you through some very trying times. I am glad that my life and Carol's are in the hands of such an awesome God.
May God keep you strong during this trial.
Blessings,
Ethel Davidge

Dear Poston Family,

All of us here at George Plumbing are keeping updated on Carols status, and I know that I am not the only one who just can't let you all off my mind. I find myself in constant prayer for Carol, you, the girls, and all the family. You have an amazing prayer network because you Postons are amazing people!

Thinking of you and and yours,

Marie Slaven
