Carol, more from Day 10 visit

(Day 10 visit with kids) Our daughters were clearly shaken to be ICU and see people's condition and then shaken to see Momma so weak. None of the girls would touch Carol, so I had to encourage them to hold her hand.  Carol was so thankful to have her girls with her and her family holding her. But she is very weak and tired.  The girls cried with sorrow for Momma as we each took turns praying for Carol and thanking Jesus for His mercy.
From my perspective, I am leaping for joy!  The nurses and Doctors are astounded and smiling with our joy.  I let Carol know how many people were praying CONTINUALLY for her all around the country and world.  Carol replied: THAT IS ASTOUNDING!
The photo shows the blanket many ladies made with their hand prints sewn on so that they are laying hands on Carol as she is covered with the blanket. Carol was blessed by this lovely gift.
For me, to see Carol without the tubes in her or the 5 antibiotic lines into her veins and arteries is so wonderful. And the Doctors will be having Carol sit in a chair today and continue to strengthen her brain and body muscles. Hope tomorrow to have a plan to move Carol from ICU.  YIPPIE, Pastor Craig

I am so elated by God's great goodness. Carol has no breathing tubes Hallelujah! Able to talk and visit with the children is an overwhelmingly powerful testimony of the love and mighty hand of our dear Lord Jesus. May many come to know Him thru this miracle. I heard the news and my heart welled up with joy for you. Oh how your sorrow is turned to joy by our heavenly Father. I kept waking up throughout the night worshipping our merciful God for his glorious love. Glory to God in the highest!

My heart jumps for joy seeing the girls visiting their momma. I'm delighted that Carol's body has taken control and is beginning the slow process of returning to a healty self.

I send heartfelt grattitude to all those angels on earth who are so generousely helping with meals and childcare. Pastor Craig has had such a burden and you all have helped lighted his load during these darkest of days.

I look forward to hearing more about Carol and the improvement she makes. I will continue to pray that Carol can return home and to the family that needs her.

Craig and Carol,

I am a friend of Darril and Marie H. They have always spoken so highly of you over the years...

I am praising God with you for this answer to prayer and will continue to pray for strength in body, mind and spirit for you both in the days to come. God is good, today as He was yesterday, and in those frightening days before. But how grateful I am that tonight we may praise Him with tears of joy and laughter!

Craig and Carol,

I have been following this for the last few days, my bride since last week. We have been praying together. My bride has been woken in the middle of the night, unable to sleep, and brought to her knees in prayer for Carol. Pastor Craig, your faith through this has been an inspiration. Reading your posts, not knowing the future yet certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christ was in control, has been such an inspiration. Willing to accept whatever outcome He had is a testimony that few can truly say they have lived, much less demonstrated.

God is not done with your family, your time is just beginning. Looking for a verse to share, I came across Revelation 12:11, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." You did not love your life so much as to shrink from it, but rose to it, and offered it a sacrifice to Christ. The word of this testimony will go far to helping others overcome and know the love of Christ.

You are still in our prayers as we pray for complete recovery and anxiously await future updates.

I think we all needed reminding of how BiG God really is. I know I did. I fall on my knees and confess that I have made Him smaller and weaker in my doubtful tiny mind. Thank you Lord for showing us your glory. Thank you for your life giving love.

Dear Carol and Craig,

I am a friend of Vicki Hinrichs who was and is deeply touched by your story, from the adoption of your five lovely girls to the devastating illness that has shaken your lives so thoroughly over the past week and a half. Now, I can't begin to tell you how much the Lord has used you, your faith, and your intense reality to touch my heart and the hearts of many others - from California to Alaska, from Oregon to Colorado, from Texas to across the sea)!

Thank you for sharing your heart and faith, Craig. (And great thanks to those who have maintained your blog!) It's been an honor to share your prayer requests, your tears, and your joys. This whole experience has been a faith bolstering blessing. We will remain in prayer for full healing for Carol and for the hearts and emotions of your beautiful girls (and mom and dad, and Martin, too). My heart is simply bubbling over for you! Praise God for His incredible love! What Satan intended for evil, God intended for GOOD.
Rejoicing with you!
