Carol Poston Update, Day 9, AWAKE

Day 9.  The Doctors said "prepare for long term coma. After a person has been in coma this long, she will not come out."
Chronicles 16:3Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
This morning Carol awoke from her coma!!!  One eye is open and Carol was looking me in the eye very alert and just squeezing my hand (and her brother Martin's hand) as she looked.  Carol can respond to questions: Are you hot?  (she nodded) and she can move her toes and feet.
I have never cried so hard or violently as my sorrow was cast off.
Yesterday Martin's flight to England was canceled b/c of snow in London. God wanted Martin to share this joy!
Yesterday I preached from Luke 15, the Prodigal Son.  My wife was lost and now she is found.  My wife was dead and now SHE IS ALIVE. Thank you Lord Jesus!!  Thank you all for praying.  Celebrating with tears and much joy, Pastor Craig

We sang this song in church yesterday & it has been in my mind all day because of Carol, then to come across this post, GOD is so very good!

Sovereign Grace ~ The Lord is

The depths of Your grace who can measure
You fully supply all I need
You restore my weary soul again and again
And lead me in Your righteousness and peace

You’re with me through every dark valley
There’s nothing that I have to fear
You are there to comfort me again and again
Protecting me, assuring me You’re near

The Lord is
The Lord is my shepherd
The Lord is
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want

You gave Your own life for my ransom
So I could rejoice at Your side
You have shown Your faithfulness again and again
There’s nothing good that You will not provide

I will dwell in Your house
All the days of my life
I will dwell in Your house
All the days of my life

Praise God!!! Pray for a full and quick recovery for Carol!

This is great news! I will continue to pray that Carol improves daily. Squeezing hands and moving toes sounds wonderful.

I'm the one whos mom was in the coma for 10 days. If Carol starts speaking nonsense she may be having hallucinations and they should go away. This coma business is so bazaar.

May God stay by Carol's side for the weeks and months ahead.

Praise be to God!!!

We've been praying everyday for Carol and your family. This thought kept repeating in my heart - "For nothing is impossible with the Lord." Thanks be to God!

We will keep on praying for Carol's full recovery and for your family.

I am so excited to hear Carol is awake. Anyone who claims God does not do miracles today just hasn't opened their eyes to see them, or claimed them when they happen. Now you can be the testimony to others of our awesome God! All Glory to Him!!

Our God is SO HUGE! I am continuing to pray, for all of you. I will be in KC this weekend speaking at I Am Second Sunday. I hope to get by to pray with you personally but now that people you don't even know are praying for your family.

There is nothing to big or small for God to REIGN over all! I am seriously praying for continued strength for Carol and the family to be encouraged by the amazing bright day as today! I too was in a coma 2yrs ago and know that doctors say when there is little hope, the truth is...GOD prevails. As I learned what my husbands and families went through in desperation, I knew it was for HIS glory. A new way to see that we need to daily be on our knees of gratefulness. Blessings to you all for the continued praise to God instead of disappontment in HIM. Its a long road for you all and will pray for each baby step you all take in the change of your life right now.I dont know you but know a family in Temecula has experienced the same shock and crisis. So you are being held in prayer here, strangers but a siter in Christ is praying now on my knees for you

God is for us....Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." He had this amazing story of Carol's and your life all planned out and He gets the glory! Praise God. Even more precious, is this story, that it was ALL God who performed that miracle so no one can boast. We have been rejoicing and crying with you all day. We will definitely continue the prayers and look forward to all that the Lord is going to do. You are amazing Craig, you have blessed us more than you will ever know by your testimony and how you have been giving glory to God in the midst of your trial. We will never forget this story. Thank you for allowing us to take you all before the throne of grace and watch the Lord work on your behalf. We may never know how many people were touched by this story or lives that were saved....but we will in heaven! May the Lord bless your time with Carol and your girls. Kellie and Mario Limon

We have been following the daily updates from day one as you graciously took the time to keep all of us informed each day as to Carol's condition. We cried when we heard the news of Carol waking up!!! We are so grateful to our Lord for hearing your prayers as well as the plethora that were lifted for her all over the world. She has been in our prayers constantly and will continue to be as she and your family face the challenges ahead. But PRAISE BE TO GOD for the miracle he has done in healing her! We love you guys! Love, The Karin, Alexandra and Chloe Gault :-)
