Carol Poston update, Sat eve, Feb 4

(Saturday eve, Day 7 of Coma).  It is challenging to stay uplifted today after seeing Carol this morning in same state and Dr's call this afternoon saying they went ahead and did a spinal MRI just to try to find something to explain why Carol will not wake up. But nothing is revealed.  Another lung infection hit Carol today.
Unfortunately, every day forward minimizes expectation of Carol waking up.
God's will is being done and if God chooses to wake Carol up tonight, to God be the glory.  If not, to God be the glory.

At our sweet church prayer time last night we had about 50 gather and it was wonderful. Someone mentioned our church prayer theme I set this year is GLORIFYING GOD.
Another mentioned that our Filipino daughters' hearts must be heavy to consider having lost their first mother and now their second is in hospital.  This is very hard and emotional on all the girls.
Our needs for meals and other things are being sweetly met. Thank you. This week we are taken care of.
May the Lord strengthen me and awaken my lovely Carol.  With heavy heart, Pastor Craig

Craig & Girls,

Know that I'm praying constantly for Carol and all of you, begging for God's mercy and for a miraculous healing. You are an incredible testimony of faith and trust in the Lord, Craig, and I have no doubt that YOU are ministering to hundreds of people through this, and God is being glorified. that said, I know this is extremely difficult.

Blessings,

I totally agree with Jennie. It is so easy for us to proclaim His sovereignty when things go our way, or when we see a glimpse of His using all things for the good
of His followers. Craig, you have been an excellent example of the same unconditional love for the Father as He has for us, in the deepest valley with the most formidable pain!! Thank you for sharing the depths of your heart with so many. I look forward with anxious expectation to hear how she is everyday, all of you will continue to be in our despetate prayers.
Seeking and surrendering,

I'm continuing to pray for the anitbiotic treatment to take effect so Carol's body can fight off the bacteria. Todays lung infection is disappointing, and I will continue praying that she can rid herself of these toxins so she can begin to heal.

I would suggest you keep talking to her. Let her know what's going on with her treatment and what the girls are up to. It doesn't have to be sadness and tears. Assume she can hear you and tell her the daily news from the homefront.

May you, the girls and Martin stay strong during this most difficult time. I'm sure Carol was busy all the time taking care of her family. It makes me happy to read about all the support you have at home with meals and care for the girls.

May God keep a close eye on Carol and your family in the days and weeks to come.

My heart is breaking for you and your family. I pray that God continues to give you strength and perseverance as well as His comfort and peace, especially tonight after such a difficult day. I pray that God gives you wisdom and strength as you talk with and comfort your girls. I pray that God comforts Carol and bring healing and awakens her. In all things may He be glorified.

Dear Craig and family,
Although we've never met, I know two of the families that are part of your church family. Our family has been praying for you all ever since we read about Carol and we are trusting you all in His care. If the Lord knows and cares for each sparrow that falls, He knows and cares deeply about what you are all going through! One of the songs we sing at our church says "Oh yes He cares, I know He cares. His heart is touched with my grief. When the days are dreary, the long nights weary - I know my Savior cares! " May you feel His love and care and nearness each day. We will keep praying for you all and especially for a miracle for your Carol!

When one part of the church body is hurting, it radiates throughout the entire body causing us to cry out to Our Sovereign God to hear our plea for His tender mercies.
I've never met you or your family, but I am familiar with your name. You are part of my family and my heart is broken for the immense trial you are bearing.
Please know how deeply we care for you and your family as we pray for you and we lift Carol up.
God is being glorified every moment of this and I pray that through this His light will be seen by the unbelieving world.

The Lord gave me this verse this morning which I thought was so fitting. Psalms 3:3-5 But you, O Lord are a shield for me, My glory and the one who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.

We are close friends with the Bellafaires and have met your family through them. I want you to know that we are praying for you all in the midst of this storm. The scripture that God has laid on my heart to pray is from Ephesians 5: "Awake, sleeper! Arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." I know in context that Paul is talking about spiritual regeneration, but I am hoping that God means this literally for now and not just in the last day.
Our love and prayers will continue with
you,
